NEVADA TRAIL GETS COVER SHOOT
IMBA’s new trail building book released in the summer of 2004, features the Nevada Flume Trail on its cover. Located on the east side of Lake Tahoe, the Flume Trail and Tahoe Rim Trail sections in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park offer some of the most scenic and enjoyable single track riding in the country. Look closely, that’s not a cloud in the background, but the start of the devastating Marti’s Fire in 2001. For those in the Reno, you may recognize the Evans Canyon trail illustrating flagging and trail lay out on page 100. A great book on trail building, trail users, and trails around the world, everyone should get one.
