For the past couple of years the Western Trail Builders Association has held their annual conference here in Reno. Last year the two IMBA trail crews attended and hosted a number of sessions at this conference. Due to popular demand and interest, the IMBA trail crews will take their experience and expertise outside on our area trails in 2003. The advanced trail building school they are offering will cover building challenging, fun, and sustainable trails.

It most likely be in/around Rancho San Rafael Park. This has been a really great opportunity to get a number of park rangers and park planners from a number of agencies coordinating and considering the future of trails in our area. When the final site location is selected, I'll post when and where, the Saturdays work day will be. I encourage you to "ride by and say hi", to show your enthusiasm and support for fun and challenging trails.
