We are looking for persons to help do trail maintenance on the existing dh trails at Sky Tavern. The City of Reno Parks Department would like to see mountain bike use continue and even expand at Sky tavern, but need the trails to be periodically maintained and enhanced. If they are not, they could be shut down.

Jim Crompton standing by a couple of sections that were armored using locally found rock. The armored drop offs will break up the straight v-groove sections. The idea is to have the riders braking on the placed rocks and letting the wheels roll on the dirt sections to minimize erosion.
