I’d really like to thank all of you who
are IMBA members, NMBPatrollers, IMBA Dealers and IMBA clubs. Year in and
year out, many of you have been long time IMBA supporters. It not easy to
part from your hard earned dollar, and many of you also fit in hours of
labor and advocacy into your tight schedules. You don’t often get a pat on
the back or acknowledgment, but your membership matters. We definitely can
say there are more mountain biking opportunities now than in the past.
IMBA has made a difference at the highest levels, which means a lot in
Nevada which has so much federal land. Thank you for being part of
organization that gets its strength and support from you—its members.

YOUR ANNUAL TRAIL PASS
Consider your annual IMBA donation, not just a season pass—but an annual
pass to trails, literally around the world. Can you think of a better
deal? Its says you want to support and to be counted as a mountain bike
trail user. As this last presidential election has shown, numbers,
partnerships and supporters really make a difference. IMBA’s worldwide
membership has been hanging around 32,000 members since y2k, as has
Nevada’s IMBA membership of around 200. Since then Nevada’s population has
grown almost an additional 250,000 persons. At an estimated 41 million
off-road cycling enthusiasts nation wide, we sure could use more
representation. Numbers matter, and you need to be counted as a mountain
biker. No
single organization has done more to make more trail opportunities for
you. More than that, it’s a network of cycling friends, enjoying their
passion for trails and travel. |
