THE STAIR CASE
Before...
After
Shown above is an alternate line offering a technical trail feature (ttf)
off the main trail. Using medium to large rocks around an existing
outcropping, an armored stairway was built with a roll able drop at the
end.
Important points of feature construction for this challenge section
include:
-armored (rock) stair step for long term durability, sustainability
-excellent line of sight for rider dropping back on to main trail
-entrance line obscured so less experienced riders don't stray on to
-entrance line is actually more difficult than the "main feature" to
prevent riders from getting in over their ability

the "qualifier"
Riding the optional line to the stair case and drop is
actually harder than the main feature.
