This upper section of the Evans Canyon trail was constructed using a Sweco trail building machine.  With a four foot blade, the Sweco cut can make a fun, flowing, and sometimes fast riding trail.  This section of trail was also "pushing the grade" because of property line constraints. This landscaped claming feature (and others constructed) both visually and physically narrow the trail and forces the trail user to slow down.

All the bigger rocks on the right and left hand sides of the trail have been brought in to narrow, or choke down the trail.  Although this trail will soon have signage and be designated for non-motorized use, these chokes should keep our four wheeled friends from trying to venture down this section.  A number of these chokes can also be ridden over, offering more challenging lines.
