FELLOW FRIENDS OF SINGLETRACK

Just wanted to share some cool events and invite you to join Cathy & me for all or part. Get out your calendars, PDAs or post-a-notes.

April 5-6 - CACHE CREEK Trail Work & Ride
Trailwork Saturday sponsored by our friendly BLM & promoted by the Yolo Hikers. See attached Word Document for info on free food, free camping & (yeah, free) trailwork. We can do a nice little ride after
trail work on Saturday. We should plan to share dinner, beer & tall tales Saturday nite. On Sunday, we'll explore the Payne Ranch. This old ranch is in the Boxer Wilderness Bill. Come see for yourselves why it
should be protected in such a way so we can continue to ride there!

April 19 & 20 - Annual Easter Weekend at Boggs
Don't need no tasty Luna Bars if we have a bag of Peeps! See the FATRAC newsletter or www.fatrac.net.
Saturday, meet at 10:00 a.m. Calistoga, at intersection of Silverado Tr & Hwy . We'll ride out 'n back on the old Oat Hill Mine Rd. Technical, scenic, wildflowers. What more do I need to say? Showers at the Fairgrounds after the ride because we'll then head up to camp (can you say 'primitive') at Boggs Mtn. No water. Bring water. The next day we'll ride ALL OVER Boggs. Yahoo. Hopefully we will have a local or two to guide us thru the maze (Tom?!?)

May 3-4 - HENRY COE IMBA EPIC
Epics are a great way to find out about an area. Saturday trailwork, Sunday RIDE. ROMP is leading the way. You must pre-register with IMBA (and be a member, too!) Go to http://www.imba.com for all the details. One more small detail about this particular Epic, it's also Jim's birthday. Come out and celebrate! And participate in what is a passion for the Birthday Boy -- promoting, maintaining, advocating for, AND RIDING miles 'n miles of single track.

I assume all or part of these events has sparked some interest in you. If you have questions we can answer, get in touch!
