Registration:
Registration for each event is day-of (no late fees, no field limits). Fill out a USA Cycling release form and bring to each race (http://www.usacycling.org/forms/rider_release.pdf). Entry fee for each race is $20.
Riders will be given start times at registration, and will be started in order of registration.
USCF License required. One-day licenses available.
Categories:
Open Men, Open Women, Master Men (35+), Master Women (35+), Juniors (under 18)
Race Prizes:
This is a four-race, points-based series. Points are awarded at each race (10 for 1st, 9 for 2nd, 1 for 10th and below) and multiplied by the race weighting to determine overall score. Riders must race at least 3 races, including Mt. Rose, to qualify for overall prizes. Top 3 in each category will receive cash and/or merchandise.
Course Record Prize:
$100 to the rider setting a new course record at any race.
Overall Prizes:
Top 3 in each category will receive cash (min. $80/60/40) and merchandise. Questions:
Which Mt. Rose is the required one? Front or Back?
Mt. Rose front side on Aug. 8 is the required race — gotta suffer the big daddy if you want to earn overall prizes.
