Hopefully the weather will be cooperating, there is a chance of showers in the morning but I’m hoping that it will be all cleared out by the afternoon, or at least the precipitation will. I will update the email list that day.
This will be the make up race for the cancelled points event from 2 weeks ago. Registration will open at 5:15 and the A’s will start at 6:15 followed in short intervals by the B’s and C’s. All 3 groups will be doing the full course. Two weeks ago there were 4 sections of gravel approx 20 ft long on the return trip across Stampede dam. I don’t know if they have been patched yet so please be careful. This will be the only spot on the course that the centerline rule will not be enforced. The corner at the Stampede Dam turnoff will be coned so please control your speed through that corner. Here is a map of the route http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3677676
If you have not yet registered please print a release form and have it filled out when you arrive. If you have already raced don’t forget your number. Please remember there is a $20 series registration fee if you are not a Reno Wheelmen Member in addition to the $10 event fee. Members also receive a discounted event fee. Women and Juniors race for free.

So to race you need to pay $20 upfront and then an addtinal $10 per race………correct? Can you race without paying the $20? I’m not concerend about the race series or points.
That is correct. The fee will be waived one time only for those people that only do one race during the year but will be enforced upon your second race. One of the benefits of being a Reno Wheelmen member is having the fee waived along with the per event discount.
