The third and final event of the USAC XC State Championship Series, this race shreds the Tahoe National Forest’s Upper Pioneer/Hallelujah trail loop near Skillman campground and Washington Road off of Hwy 20. We run this loop counterclockwise so you climb the switchbacks near the North Fork Deer Creek headwaters, and descend through the rock garden near the Washington Road overlook.

This event is for pros and amateurs of all ages, and is a qualifier for XC nationals in West Virginia. We award medals 3 deep in each category for each race. There will also be medals 3 deep per category awarded for the state championship at the end of this race, using points totaled from all three races in the series.

Sponsors contribute swag, and we raffle off a 2017 Specialized Camber Comp 29 or Rumor Comp 29 or 650b or similar from Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop at the end of this race. Raffle tickets are available atybonc.org/events/raffle, bikereg.com/nevada-city-dirt-classic-xc-series, or at the venue.

Food, music, merchandise, and a rockin day in the mountains!
